I recently celebrated my 40th birthday party here. We had a private celebration with a dj. The drinks are reasonably priced with beer on tap,(so many bars are bottle only) The bar itself is decorated so beautifully and uniquelly you wouldn't see anywhere else like it in reading, the staff were amazing and great service was provided all night . Meena made everything so easy and stress free for me with great communication throughout. I would highly recommend for anyone to use this bar for their functions.

Our choir group had a small social at the Angel - around 20 people, it was a great evening, with a well organized package made for us at the bar, some lovely sharing food, pizzas and cheese/meat platters. Super cocktails and friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely go back

Fantastic venue, visited tonight my friend had hired it privately. The catered fabulous pizzas, the vegan one was delicious and the sharing platter a work of art. The cocktail team know there mixology and turn around these quickly, reasonably priced and artfully served

The food is just as impressive – fresh, tasty, and ideal for sharing with friends or enjoying solo.

My god I just had the best night of my entire life at the angel bar! The staff were absolutely amazing and genuinely gave me the best hen do I could of ever wanted. Thank you for your hard work and just being absolute stars. Fully recommend this venue to anyone. X
